Maybe you want to provide a meal or take a dessert to them. | Volunteer mission teams come to Townsend to serve God by serving people. These teams come at their own expense, often sacrificing personal vacations, and always under heavy opposition from evil forces of spiritual warfare. As members of local churches, we can partner with these teams in evangelism by praying for them before the come and while they are here. Team members who have been adopted have said there is no better way to help them than to pray. Some team members have related personal stories of ways prayer has shielded them from trouble or helped prepare them for the mission. Will you lead your church, Sunday School class or other small group to pray for a team this summer? |
