MISSION STATEMENT The purpose of the Ministers' Wives Fellowship is to provide support and encouragement for each other. We will strive to maintain a positive and nurturing atmosphere within our fellowship, enabling us to become better equipped to assist our husbands in their calling as ministers.
Minister's wife, have you ever felt like you were alone? Have you ever felt like no one understands and there is no one you can talk to about the everyday life of being a Minister's wife? The MWF (Ministers' Wives Fellowship) of the Chilhowee Baptist Association is here for you! We are a support group for all wives whose husband ministers in any capacity in our churches, or to any lady who holds a ministry position. Whether you just need a listening ear, a prayer partner or someone who has "been there, done that," we are here for you. God has called us to become Ministers' wives along with our husbands, to fulfill a wonderful part of His plan. Although we face struggles along the way, there is no greater joy than being a part of this calling!! What a gift God has given us!!
We do hope to begin a Bible Study after the first of the year. It is a study just for Ministers' Wives entitled "In Our Shoes" written by Rachel Lovingood & Jennifer Landrith, minister's wives of the Youth Pastor & Senior Pastor of Longhollow Baptist Church, Nashville, TN If you are interested, contact Pat Brown at pbrown913@gmail.com or 865 363-6774
RETREAT JANUARY 15-17, 2010 CABIN IN WEARS VALLEY $50/PERSON; Includes 2 nights lodging, food and materials. If you wish to attend Saturday (9:00 AM—6:00 PM) only, cost is $25/person and will not include the first session of our study, but will include all materials.
